Sponsorship can be provided in two ways:

 

1. Sponsoring our programmes

2. Sponsoring an individual student from high school to and through the tertiary level.

Sponsoring our Programmes

Our programmes have been divided into four modules:

​

• Character Building Lessons

These lessons are held via Zoom once a week for an entire semester in school. They are centred around our four core values:​

i. Refinement

ii. Resilience

iii. Responsibility

iv. Resourcefulness

 

Needs

At the moment the six girls enrolled in the programme sit around two laptops during our weekly Zoom meetings.

1. Ideally, each girl should have a laptop.

2. Annual Zoom subscription for efficient meetings.

3. Available data for our meetings to run smoothly.

4. Stipends for volunteers and resource persons who appear on the programme or        assist with running the programme.

5. Other logististics.

• Community Service

The girls are currently engaged in the recycling of plastic waste in the school. The school community is made up of over 2,000 people who mostly drink water from little sachet bags. These empty sachet bags become a nuisance, as they are littered around the campus or propels the school’s rubbish skip to be full in the shortest possible time. 

By the end of the term, a truck load of empty sachet bags is ready to be sold and sent to recycling companies to be churned into different plastic receptacles. Monies received from selling the empty sachet bags are used to buy large plastic bags to pack the empty sachet bags and the cycle continues.

 

Needs

1. Hire a truck to convey the empty sachet bags from the school to the factory for sale.

2. Stipends for volunteers who supervise with the recycling project.

• Vacation Literacy Skills

The girls read books (novels by Louisa Alcott, Shakespeare, Dickens, Darwin and African Writers) when on vacation.

 

Needs

1. Procure literature books and dictionaries for the girls.

• Educational Trips 

One-week trip within and outside Ghana will expose the girls to be knowledgeable on what goes on around them.

 

Needs

A mini bus to transport the team on a trip in Ghana. OR funds for:

1. Transportation

2. Accommodation

3. Feeding

4. Chaperon(s)

Individual Sponsorship

​

An institution, company, family or individual can pick one or more girls and sponsor immediately from High School to the tertiary level.

 

High School: Provide provisions, books, transportation and pocket money.

Tertiary: Procure university application forms, pay tuition and accommodation fees, provide a laptop, clothes, provisions and pocket money for the next four years.
